I often receive questions about how lighting affects health, specifically our Circadian rhythm.  In 2014, I took a class at the Lighting Resource Center (LRC) focusing on light and health.

There’s been a lot of talk recently about the Internet of Things.  And there’s been a lot of talk about greater controllability of lights.  But what does it all mean for the LED industry?

For those of us approaching another birthday, it sometimes it feels like it’s getting increasingly difficult to identify items in a store from a distance, distinguish color differences among similar goods in a store, and read price labels or restaurant menu options.

New LED lighting has been installed on an advertising billboard in Mumbai, India. The luminaires, designed and manufactured by Leo Integrated Technologies Pvt Ltd, leverage the Bridgelux Vero(R) 29 LED Arrays to produce higher quality colors and brighter illumination than the existing metal halide.

For the second year in a row, Bridgelux has been named one of the Bay Area’s largest private companies. The list, based on fiscal year 2013 revenue and published by San Francisco Business Times, ranked Bridgelux 92 out of 100.
