Bridgelux Launches Generation 2 F90 COB Series with Dramatically Improved Color Stability Over Temperature and Higher Efficacy at CRI 90

Fremont, California – November 22, 2025 – Bridgelux, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance LED lighting solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its Generation 2 F90 Chip-on-Board (COB) series. The new family delivers breakthrough color-point stability across operating temperatures while achieving CRI 90 efficacy levels that match or exceed conventional CRI 80 products.

Building on the proven F90 platform, Generation 2 addresses the primary limitation of the previous generation – color shift over temperature – while further elevating performance for demanding professional lighting applications.

Exceptional Color Stability Over Temperature: Typical color shift (∆u’v’) of ≤ 0.004 from 25°C to 85°C (previously ≤ 0.006) while maintaining the full KSF phosphor usage for the highest efficasy, representing a 33% improvement and among the tightest temperature-dependent color maintenance in the industry.

Industry-Leading CRI 90 Efficacy: Typical efficacy of 185–200 lm/W at 3000K, 90 CRI, 65°C, with >200 lm/W achievable when under-driven by 30%, enabling DLC Premium and ERP Class A and B.
 

Full Portfolio Coverage: Available in both on-BBL (FH) and below-BBL (FD) color points, with light-emitting surface (LES) diameters from 10 mm to 22 mm. Nominal luminous flux at 65°C (3000K, 90 CRI, FH):
