Bridgelux Launches DriveLux ™ 3CCT and RGBW with Casambi Controls

A Compact Light Engine Combines COB, Driver, and Bluetooth Control for Tunable White and Dynamic Color Lighting

Fremont, California – March 1, 2026 – Bridgelux, a leading innovator in LED lighting technologies, today announced the launch of its new DriveLux™ Bluetooth-controlled light engines. Developed in partnership with Casambi, a pioneer in wireless lighting control solutions, the DX3-C (triple CCT) and DX4-C (RGBW) models integrate advanced Chip-on-Board (COB) arrays—built with multicolor CSP LEDs—with an onboard driver and seamless Casambi Bluetooth connectivity. This delivers a compact, all-in-one solution (50mm diameter × 10mm height) for tunable white and vibrant color applications.

The DriveLux DX3-C-L13 triple CCT model enables smooth color temperature tuning from 1800K to 6500K along the Black Body Locus (BBL), maintaining tight color consistency within 2 MacAdam ellipse steps of ANSI CIE specifications. Operating at approximately 23W (13mm LES) with CRI 90, it delivers high lumen outputs of ~2400 lumens at 2700K and ~2600 lumens at 4000K. This makes it ideal for human-centric lighting in hospitality, retail, and residential settings requiring precise, high-quality white light adjustment.

The DriveLux DX4-C-L13 RGBW model extends versatility with tunable white from 1800K to 6500K along the BBL (within 3 MacAdam ellipse steps) plus full RGB color mixing for dynamic scenes and a wide color gamut. Powered by advanced CSP technology using blue and green GaN chips with narrow-band KSF-converted red, the tunable white is available in CRI 90 and CRI 95 options. At approximately 22W (13mm LES), it provides ~2050 lumens (CRI 90) or ~1950 lumens (CRI 95) at 2700K, and ~2350 lumens (CRI 90) or ~2250 lumens (CRI 95) at 4000K—perfect for accent lighting, immersive experiences, and applications in commercial, architectural, and entertainment environments.

“Partnering with Casambi has allowed us to create a fully integrated light engine that simplifies design while enabling powerful wireless control,” said Dr. Yiqun Li, CEO of Bridgelux. “The DriveLux DX3-C and DX4-C combine exceptional performance, a compact form factor, and easy configuration via the Casambi app—empowering designers and manufacturers to deliver smarter, more adaptable lighting solutions with reduced complexity and faster time-to-market.”

Key features of the DriveLux series include:

  - Seamless integration of COB array, driver, and Casambi Bluetooth wireless controls
  - Compact, replaceable design for straightforward installation and maintenance
  - High-efficacy tunable white along the BBL with excellent color consistency
  - Broad color gamut RGBW mixing for creative and functional applications
  - High-CRI options (up to 95) for superior color rendering
