Field Application Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Field applications engineers are technical support engineers for salesmen and marketing at technology companies. A field application engineering job provides the opportunity to travel, work with engineers on leading edge designs and seal up design and product contracts. In this capacity, field applications engineers are critical in that they suggest new technology and provide different design approaches that make for top-selling products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expertise and experience in LED Fixture, can immediately solve customer problems.
  • Proactive attitude and good interpersonal skills..
  • Proven competence in a customer facing / commercial environment
  • Normality to travel (South China) with Sales team and Co-work with AE team.
  • Analyze and summarize data for reports in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database.
  • Provide Technical support to design win LED products at customers.
  • Provide new product ideas and suggestion on necessary adaptation of LED package products to meet customer and market requirement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: University or above equivalent. Physical / Chemical / Electronic and other related departments to graduate.
  • >2 years working experience in LED manufacturing or relevant industry experience.
  • The optical / thermal / electrical / mechanical and other related basics.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills.
  • Can fit on a lots of business trips.
  • Able and desire to learn new skills and take on projects to drive completion.
