Office Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This person will play a critical role and serve as an integral member of building, managing, and supporting the start-up functions for the new Bridgelux spin-off – Xenio Corporation (the “Company”).  The Company Office Manager will be responsible for all general office management and HR related needs for the Company.  The successful candidate will be a solutions-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, diligent, and organized professional, with excellent communications, decision-making and interpersonal skills, as well as high integrity.  This position will handle a variety of tasks to ensure that Company office management and HR functions operate efficiently. This position is located in San Francisco and will report into the VP of IoT Business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, coordinate and administer overall Company headquarter office operations, including facilities, travel, HR, IT, indirect purchasing and business licensing.
  • Manage the selection and relationship for all indirect purchasing vendors, such as office supplies, travel agency, and any other vendors related to the Company headquarter facility
  • Help coordinate IT support with the Bridgelux team
  • Help manage and administer all aspects of HR functions in collaboration with the Bridgelux team
  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as localization of employee handbooks and company policies, help develop and administer policies and performance management
  • Conduct new hire orientation, on-boarding, interviews and employee training programs
  • Manage and administer temporary agency engagements
  • Assist with work permits, passport and visa processing as needed
  • Help manage and administer finance related functions in collaboration with the Bridgelux team
  • Ensure the smooth daily operation of the SF office and proper maintenance and administration of the facility
  • Establish and manage an expense reimbursement, petty cash and purchase requisition process
  • Support local executives and management, including scheduling of appointments and organization of meetings and travel
  • Serve as visitor liaison for customers and business partners during onsite visits to Company headquarter office

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years plus of human resources and office administration; some experience in accounting a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive personnel issues and maintain extreme confidentiality
  • Must be comfortable and adept at interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Organized, flexible, good people skills, decisive, highly motivated, strong initiative, energetic, positive attitude, ready to learn and grow with the Company and deal with a wide range of work assignments and needs
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office
