Supply Chain Manager

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President, Manufacturing this position is responsible for the developing and managing the Material Planning function for goods and materials. This position is based our U.S. office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes
• Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process
• Identify system tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems
• Lead engineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems
• Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts, logistics and quality
• Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning
• Measure actual performance against goals and present results to senior management
• Manage Foundry and OEM contracts

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management
• Demonstrated familiarity with the development, use and implementation of planning and forecasting systems
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical management
• Worldwide travel as required to manage the planning/forecasting process and logistics of order fulfillment
• Strong computer software skills (MS Office and company ERP systems)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
