JOB SUMMARY
This device product engineer will work closely with device R&D,
manufacturing and sales team, perform LED device characterization,
reliability testing and manage device specifications. The LED device
product engineer will also be responsible for failure analysis for
customer support and continuous device improvement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with device R&D and manufacturing team to contribute
to LED device design and fabrication improvements with foundry.
• Carry out electrical and optical characterization of LED
devices and perform reliability testing
• Generate and maintain device product specs and manage the
spec revision control
• Monitor device performance and yield
• Interface with foundry as well as customer on device engineering
issues
• Perform failure analysis for timely customer support and
continuous device improvement
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• MS or Ph.D. in EE or Physics
• Five years of related experience in semiconductor device
engineering, preferably in semiconductor LED technology
• In-depth knowledge of surface analytical techniques
• Proven problem solving abilities
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
• Good understanding and experience in wafer fab processing
technologies
• Strong communication skills verbal & written
