WAFER FAB Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Wafer Fab Engineer with proven experience in semiconductor process development and sustaining in both R&D and manufacturing environment. As a member of the fab team, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient fab operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Candidate will be responsible for process development and process sustaining in the areas of lithography, wet and dry etch, thin film deposition and wafer thinning processes used in the manufacture of high performance LED chips.
• Responsibilities will include developing new processes, maintaining and improving wafer fab operations, transferring next generation technology into manufacturing and integrating process technologies with product design.
• Drive equipment and process decisions necessary to meet product requirements
• Monitor and improve process capability, cycle time, yield, cost, productivity and quality.
• Respond to daily tactical issues to assure continuity of supply of product to specifications
• Implement and enhance manufacturing systems such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, line logistics and advanced data analysis tools.
• Collect and analyze production and product performance data
• Understand and drive resolution of manufacturability issues to complete transition from product development to full volume manufacturing

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• MS in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
• Five years of related experience developing advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Proven problem solving abilities
• Experience in the field of semiconductor LED technology or similar
• Good understanding and experience at wafer fab processing technologies and operations
• Well versed and experienced at SPC
• Strong communication skills verbal & written
