Senior Facilities Technician

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager of Facilities and EHS, this position will, under general direction, perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance tasks for all facilities and life safety systems. In addition, provide hands on technical support of technician staff to troubleshoot equipment failures and identify/address root causes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance tasks for facilities equipment and building utilities systems such as chillers, cooling towers, CDA, DIW, PCWS, pumps, valves, electrical gears, VFDs, domestic water systems, office equipment etc.
• Conduct daily rounds to visually inspect the systems for vibrations and noise, take performance readings and discuss with facilities engineer.
• Provide support to other facilities technician/s and engineer as needed
• Perform calibration for pH, temperature and pressure sensors.
• Receive training and become a member of the Emergency Response Team
• Support 24/7 plant operations
• Familiar with ALC Building Management System
• Familiar with Facilities Work Order system and reporting methods
• Assist in office relocation if needed
• Participate in small construction projects if needed
• Performs other related work as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Hands on experience in troubleshooting and repairing typical systems for semiconductor facilities
• Must have knowledge of personal protective equipment and be able to don/use whenever needed
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Facilities Technician preferably in semiconductor facilities.
• Must be able to lift weight, climb straight up ladders and enter confined space.
• Must be able to operate fork lift.
• Must have very high level of safety record and be able to meet zero incident target.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, good workmanship, and lockout tagout practices
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish good working relationships with other departments
