JOB SUMMARY
Bridgelux is in search of an experienced Equipment Engineer with proven success in semiconductor process equipment maintenance in R&D and manufacturing environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected individual will:
• Track and improve equipment performance.
• Improve reliability, efficiency, throughput and serviceability of equipment used in the manufacture of high performance LED chips.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Coordinate and/or perform installation of new equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to Maintenance Technicians.
• Develop and document equipment maintenance procedures.
• Resolve safety and ergonomic conditions encountered in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate with Process Engineers in the selection of process tools and the resolution of equipment-related process issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of related experience with thin film, wet and dry etch and lithography equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven problem solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of wafer fab processing technologies and operations.
• Strong communication skills, spoken and written.
• Skilled in the use of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks CAD software.
