Test Development Technician

JOB SUMMARY
Working in the Operations group, reporting to the Test Development Manager, the Test Technician will work on both Test and Packaging for LED assembled products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Calibration and Correlation of test systems.
• Test system standard generation.
• Training test equipment users.
• Creating and distributing test files.
• Maintenance and repair of test systems.
• New equipment installation and calibration.
• Create drawings and specifications for packaging materials.
• Interfacing with suppliers, production staff, engineering staff and quality staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A.S. degree in related technology and 5+ years semiconductor/optical test experience is required.
• Good understanding of electrical and optical devices and experience with optical or semiconductor test equipment.
• Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
• Computer literacy and experience with MS Word and Excel is required, programming experience with LabView or Microsoft Visual Basic is helpful.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and quality focused.
• Excellent communication skills with vendors as well as with internal teams.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
