Test Development Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for design, deployment, and ongoing development of Test Equipment and related systems for LED assembled products. Also responsible to assist failure analysis team in electronic driver and thermal system evaluation for Bridgelux LED arrays.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• New test system design and deployment.
• Develop calibration and test file systems.
• Documenting and training test equipment users.
• Work with Equipment Engineering to ensure proper maintenance and repair of test systems.
• Create specifications and documentation for packaging materials.
• Interfacing with suppliers, production, engineering and quality staff.
• Support failure analysis team in evaluation of electronic driver and thermal system for Bridgelux LED arrays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of B.S. degree in EE, Physics, Optics or other related technology.
• 3+ years semiconductor/optical experience is required.
• Good understanding of electrical and optical devices and experience with optical or semiconductor test equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to use electronic test equipment and knowledge of appropriate prototyping and testing techniques for power electronic systems.
• Project planning and management skills.
• Programming experience with LabView or Microsoft Visual Basic is helpful.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and quality focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to travel world-wide as needed.
