Senior R&D Process Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the R&D process development manager, responsible for the development of advanced fabrication process for GaN LED on various substrates, to achieve world-leading-position of high brightness and low cost.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible of the development and qualification of fabrication process for GaN LED on various substrates.
• Initiate and finalize the foundry service for 8” wafer process; develop compatible processes for LED fabrication; manage foundry to stabilize and qualify manufacturing processes.
• Develop necessary processing steps to realize the new device structure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ph. D or MS in Electrical Engineering, Material science or Physics.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Silicon wafer fabrication and foundry services.
• Thorough understanding of device processes of III-V materials and Si. Experience in CTE mist-matched material system desirable. Wafer bonding experience is a plus.
• Ability to develop SPC points for optical device production in foundry enviroment.
• Strong leadership and program management skill to manage foundry service.
• A strong communicator to form consensus on complex technical subjects.
