Senior Patent Counsel

JOB SUMMARY
A full-time Senior Patent Counsel is needed primarily to perform competitive analysis and due diligence analysis, and to prosecute patent applications to read on competitors and/or to read on future technologies. May also draft and prosecute patent applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs analysis of patents. Evaluate the validity of competitors’ patents and potential company product infringement based upon competitors’ patents. May also conduct pre-patent filing review, provide legal advice to the company concerning the patent viability of its inventions and the advisability of filing patent applications covering the company’s inventions. Provide other general legal advice and represent the company in matters relating to intellectual property law. Requires having passed the patent bar.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Semiconductors, Electrical Engineering, Physics, and/or Chemistry.
• Litigation experience is a plus.
