Senior Mechanical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the design and development of high power packaging, reliability boards, characterization sockets and mold tooling. The individual must be experienced, self-motivated, and "hands-on" to own and lead mechanical integration of high power packaging.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Independently design and develop new high power LED packages.
• Extensive knowledge of the design rules and trade-off analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of mfg processes and LED high power packaging materials.
• Write clear reports and make crisp presentations of results and conclusions.
• Communicate and work collaboratively within the group and across the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• ME with relevant experience in high power LED packaging.
• Proficient at SolidWorks for mechanical design both 2D and 3D.
• Tolerance stackup analysis.
• Run DOEs to support detailed characterization.
• High level of dedication and commitment to produce good results.
• Good team work and communication skills.
