Reliability Development Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the development of reliability testing of Bridgelux high power LED products. The individual must be experienced, self-motivated, results driven and “hands-on” to own and lead the latest Reliability test methods for high power LEDs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and release into Bridgelux reliability test methods and procedures that support existing products and next generation product development.
• Develop others and drive a team to excel at reliability testing for high power LEDs.
• Strategy and experience in Reliability testing (e.g. equipment design for controlled experiments with results).
• Detailed characterization with statistics (e.g. data analysis, lifetime models with confidence intervals).
• Write clear reports and make crisp presentations of results and conclusions.
• Communicate and work collaboratively within the Reliability group and across the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Rel. laboratory management and operation with relevant experience.
• Materials expertise is a plus(e.g. silicone/ phosphor/ ceramics).
• Team management.
• Color and optics experience preferred.
• High level of dedication and commitment to produce good results.
• Good team work and communication skills.
• Experience high power LED semiconductor reliability is a plus.
• Experience in root cause analysis for reliability issues is also a plus.
