Quality Engineer

EXPERIENCE
5 + years of quality/process engineering experience. Self motivated individual with in depth understanding of quality systems and controls. Complete understanding of process and quality controls in a manufacturing and Co-development environment. Experience in ISO auditing and ISO documentation. Initiate and complete projects to product quality, product variation, productivity and product performance. Communication skills required to assist sub-contract manufacturing vendors as well end of use customers. Solving complex process, quality and reliability issues are required. Comfortable working in team environment and independently with limited supervision with analytical skills is a plus.

EDUCATION
BS minimum in Materials Sci. & Eng. or related area of study

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Quality audits manufacturing:
- Process controls - sampling / data collection correct.
- Process documents - following documented procedures.
- Conformance audits.
- Material integrity.
• Incoming material:
- Inspection / measurement of incoming materials.
- Validate vendor incoming data.
- Trouble shoot vendor quality issues
• Outgoing quality audits:
- Inspection / measurement of outgoing finished goods.
• ISO auditing / documentation:
- Drive ISO program throughout the Livermore facility.
- ISO Documentation.
- ISO audits.
• Documentation:
- Review / validate documentation.
• Training:
- Assist in any training that is quality related.
- Assist in process and quality control training.
