JOB SUMMARY
The Product Marketing Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial support to the Sales and Marketing teams. This role is responsible for evaluating and responding to customer-specific business opportunities. The product marketing engineer will also manage sales collateral, training materials and be an expert resource for competitive information and positioning. This position requires close coordination with sales, product development, customer service and manufacturing. The Product Marketing Engineer is expected to represent the company in customer meetings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce standardized collateral, training materials and customer specific materials as required.
• Provide support to the Product Marketing and Sales teams to provide timely and comprehensive technical and commercial responses to specific business opportunities.
• Evaluate opportunities based on business potential.
• Ensure that customer requirements are effectively documented and communicated to the Manufacturing and Product Development teams.
• Maintain a current and comprehensive database of competitive information.
• Assist the Marketing team on specific projects – such as new product launches or planning trade shows.
• Work with Product Marketing team to monitor key business measures including sales forecasts and ASPs.
• Deliver training to the Field Sales team.
• Travel as necessary to support the Field Sales team in customer engagements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• BS in ME, EE or related field.
• Three years of related experience in product marketing or supporting customers.
• Experience with lighting products or lighting components preferred.
• Self motivated with focus on business results.
• Strong decision making skills.
• Proven problem solving abilities.
• Experience working with, and motivating cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong communication skills both verbal & written.
• Attention to detail and quality focused.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to travel worldwide as needed.
