JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager of Facilities and EHS, this position will, under general direction, develop and implement Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs for all facilities and life safety systems. In addition, provide hands on technical support of technician staff to troubleshoot equipment failures and identify/address root causes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement facilities equipment Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs.
• Provide hands on technical support of technician staff to troubleshoot equipment failures and identify/address root causes.
• Develop and track performance indices for facilities system.
• Coordinate facilities engineering project activities with other departments as required.
• Prepares RFP’s, negotiates and administers facilities service contracts.
• Maintenance and modification of ALC Building Management System.
• Develop and implement Facilities Work Order system.
• Define skills training requirements for Facilities technician staff.
• Prepare operational budget and project budgets as needed.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring of technician staff.
• Performs other related work as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Facilities Engineer.
• Working knowledge of 2007 California Building Code and California Fire Code as pertains to semiconductor manufacturing operations and the hazardous materials inherent in these operations.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, theories and technologies related to equipment controls, mechanical or electrical/electronic systems and processes.
• Project management skills.
• OSHA regulations and safe working practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with other departments within Bridgelux as well as regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over Bridgelux.
