Epi Manufacturing Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Epi Manufacturing Manager, this position will maintain and develop Epi processes in manufacturing in MOVPE reactors and supporting process tools. Working closely with R&D, this candidate will develop manufacturing recipes and track results of production runs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop yield metrics and improvement plans.
• Create solutions that eliminate root cause of yield issues through process changes.
• Maintain Epi/device data and specifications and correlations.
• Define, organize and maintain SPC for department.
• Define technical specifications for new equipment purchases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Working experience in MOVPE.
• Working knowledge and working experience with Quality systems and documentation processes.
• Working knowledge of LED technology.
• Thorough knowledge of statistical process control methodology.
• MS degree minimum in materials/ electrical / chemical engineering.
