JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to Test Engineering Manager, this individual, as part of the test engineering group, is responsible for carrying out various wafer and die level testing activities to support engineering and production group using existing equipment or working with engineers to develop new equipment and to improve current testing process.  Other responsibility includes troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance and repair of testing equipment, and collecting and establishing SPC control chart. The required experiences include familiar with various optical and electronic equipment used for laser, LED or other optoelectronic device testing.  Other useful experience includes LabView and programming software such as Microsoft Visual BASIC and C.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out wafer and die level testing activities using various equipment.
• Collect testing data and establish SPC control chart.
• Trouble shooting and repair testing equipment.
• Track and improve equipment up time and performance.
• New equipment installation and calibration.
• Perform equipment modifications and upgrades as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A.S. degree in related technology and 5+ years semiconductor/optical test experience is required. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of electrical and optical devices and experience with optical or semiconductor test equipment.
• Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
• Computer literacy and experience with MS Word and Excel is required, programming experience with LabView or Microsoft Visual Basic is helpful.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
• Attention to details and quality focused.
• Excellent communication skill with vendor as well as with internal teams.
• Must be able to work overtime when required.
