Epi Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Epi Manufacturing Manager, this position will maintain and develop equipment in epi manufacturing including MOVPE reactors and supporting process tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop uptime metrics and improvement plans
• Define and create specifications for equipment maintenance
• Create solutions that eliminate root cause of equipment uptime issues through design changes
• Maintain schedule PM logs and specifications.
• Define technical specifications for new equipment purchases.
• Managing toxic and pyrophoric chemical sources.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years job experience in MOVPE.
• Thorough knowledge mechanics, electronics and computer control.
• Working knowledge and working experience with Quality systems and documentation processes.
• Thorough knowledge of high purity gas plumbing equipment, leak testing skills, experience working in semiconductor clean room.
• CAD skills
• AA degree minimum in mechanics/electronics/automation.
