SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
The Manager Document Control will administrate Bridgelux's quality document management program. The position will be responsible for maintaining the current system and establishing a systematic scalable process covering all aspects of document /product data management and retention.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Establishes and maintains a central repository for all Bridgelux controlled documentation such as Quality records, Regulatory files, Data Sheets, Application Notes, Product Data, NPI Qualification Records.
• Oversees engineering/design change request/order (ECR,DCR,ECO), release, change notification (PCN,CCN,SCN,ECN), and distribution process (Bridgelux internal as well to CM’s & Suppliers.)
• Write procedures for Change Control, Document Management, Records Retention, and Configuration Management.
• Manage the Change Control Approval Matrix for the Document & Change Management systems.
• Formalize the Change Control Board process and chair change review meetings as required. May approve documents for Quality as assigned.
• Creates materials and conducts orientation/training on the Document and Change management systems.
• Develops and coordinates with IT support, an electronic tracking system for Bridgelux controlled documentation. Identifies and creates user and functional requirements, supports review of all validation documentation and the implementation of an electronic tracking system. Maintains user account administration as applicable per system.
• Collaborates with cross functional departments and external entities to ensure proper tracking, review and approval, as required, of quality documents.
• Establishes metrics and reporting of trends and performance data for company use and management (i.e. document change orders, document master lists).
• Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrate d success in developing and implementing document and change management systems for electronic products. Established an electronic system such as Agile, Master Control or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of overall experience with document/change control process and Quality Systems.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills with 2-4 years manage experience
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to lead teams
• BS degree technical field preferred. Candidate should have 5 to 10 years experience in a high tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience in working with Asia based Suppliers and CM’s
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Excellent written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to make improvements in processes and systems in a fast paced high tech environment
